My Widex aid made me cry!!!

I was asked to visit a young lady in a nearby village who has otosclerosis in both ears, she had had a repair on one which was quite successful but over the years both ears had gone down in their ability to hear, and with teenagers around she was struggling to cope.

Being quite young she wanted something invisible but controlable so I fitted her with a Widex Aikia completely in canal aid with a remote control.

At the fitting, she consequently burst into tears, as she hadn't realised how much information she was missing..even down the dogs paws padding on the wooden floor.

At the check up she was much calmer after the initial shock, and was getting along beautifully with the aid and the remote control offering benefit for volume increases and decreases and giving her a good music reproduction with the music programme.
