The Oticon Streamer - An excellent piece of equipment for the modern person

We would like to thank Shane on his comment on the Oticon Epoq System, and possibly offer a little advice on the Streamer.
The Streamer, i feel, is a wonderful piece of equipment for using with modern day equipment. Not only can it turn your hearing aids up and down in volume, and change programmes without going anywhere near your hearing aids - it will also
Interlink with your blue tooth mobile phone transfering the phone call into both of your hearing aids so you get speech binaurally which makes it much easier to process. You don't even have to find your mobile to activate this, once interlinked, you press a button on the streamer and that button activates the conversation.
Interlink with MP3 players (as long as they are bluetooth) so you can walk along listening to music through your hearing aids!!!
Using the new connectline equpment from Oticon (its also quite cheap !!) You can interlink with the television and the home phone using the streamer to transmit the sounds through the hearing aids.
Its a great piece of kit!! I have also found it useful for older people who struggle with feeling controls behind their ears or if they have frozen shoulders and can't reach there.
All in all the Oticon Streamer in my mind is a winner, especially if you are up to date with technical equipment.
