Throughout the year we recieve many phone calls from people asking where they can donate their old hearing aids, and this is the answer.

As a Christian group, Open Ears are concerned about the unmet needs of hard-of-hearing and deafened people in developing countries.  Open Ears therefore act as a collecting agency for unwanted commercial hearing aids.

These hearing aids, after testing, are sent or taken overseas in response to specific requests (usually from Christian organisations), and then distributed to children and adults who will benefit from them.

As well as supporting and encouraging those with hearing problems here in the UK, Open Ears are concerned about the unmet needs of hard-of-hearing and deafened people in developing countries who, because of poverty, receive no help with their hearing loss. These hearing-aids, after testing and reconditioning, are sent or taken overseas in response to specific requests, and then distributed to children and adults who will benefit from them. Over 6,000 hearing aids have so far been sent to 60 countries.

Any private hearing aids that are no longer needed can be sent to:
