Hearing loss affects up to 466 million people worldwide – a truly staggering figure – and estimates suggest that this may increase to 900 million by 2050. That’s one in ten people on the planet.

Military personnel are up to 3.5 more likely to suffer hearing loss due to their years in active service. As a result, the British Royal Legion has commissioned a report looking into the issue – The Lost Voices Hearing Loss Report.

This is a comprehensive investigation into the causes, treatments and recovery processes of hearing loss for ex-servicemen.
