Hear4u is a family owned and run business, established in Leicestershire, Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Staffordshire since 2001.
Samantha J Bennett RHAD, FSHAA, CECP, DipH, DipNLP, CertSM (Hear4u Managing Director) has been dispensing hearing aids since 1992.
Sam has a wealth of experience in hearing assessments, providing Ear Nose and Throat Specialists with audiometric support at the Cov and Warwick Hospital in Warwickshire for 6 years. Sam also provides tinnitus counselling at the hospital, utilizing her diploma in hypnotherapy and psychology to teach skills in diversion techniques, and stress management.
In 2010 she also qualified as a clinical ear care practitioner and trainer for the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists of which Sam is a Fellow. This enables Sam to remove earwax instantly rather than the older procedure of putting oil in for days before removal. Her training is to a higher level than your lcoal GP or nurse.
In the dispensing of hearing systems Sam will use all the latest equipment and procedures to attain the highest level of satisfaction for her patients in the wearing of a hearing system.
Sam says “ We constantly strive to provide the best aids with the best service possible, and continue to educate and train ourselves to ensure improvement in our current service and bring onboard new services that will enhance your hearing experience.”
Also, on board is Ben Bennett (Healthscreen Managing Director) , Sams’ husband who provides an occupational health service to corporate companies all over the UK; known as Healthscreen UK. Although often found in the office whilst compiling reports, and taking your phone calls. If Sam has a full days list and your aid needs collecting that day or a quick repair, you may find Ben knocking at your day to assist you in your hour of need.
Sam and Bens niece, Kerry Budworth (Onsite Noise Measurement Consultant) is in the office 3 mornings per week, providing us with office management, whilst also working onsite with Ben performing onsite noise measurements for our corporate clients.
Kerry has worked with Sam and Ben for 14 years in between taking maternity leave to have her two beautiful children, and plans to now progress with her qualifications in the next few years to Health and Safety Officer with a nebosh qualification.
Our latest recruit to the family business is Maxim Bennett (Trainee Associate Audiologist), Sam and Bens son.
Max is currently being mentored by Sam and studying hard for his degree in Audiology. Max has been involved in the business since Sam started, taking an active interest in marketing, computer work and accounts, and is looking forward to getting out and about looking after his own area and clients.
