Day 1 – Theory:
- Introduction
- Statistics
- Detailed anatomy, disorders & earwax
- Cerumenolytics
- Consent & documentation
- Irrigation vs. microsuction vs. instruments
- Medico-legal issues & risks associated with microsuction
Day 2 – Field Practice:
Gain confidence as you practice otoscopy, irrigation, and manual instrument usage on real patients needing earwax removal.
Equipment
We offer complete earwax removal equipment packages at an additional fee, allowing you to choose the level that best suits your needs. Once you select a course date from the calendar, you can choose your preferred equipment package from the drop-down menu.
This equipment will be yours to take away, giving you everything you need to start your earwax removal practice immediately after the course.
If you decide not to purchase an equipment package, don’t worry—we will provide all the necessary tools for you to complete your training. However, please note that you’ll need to bring your own head loupes and otoscope for the course.
Location
The first day of the course will be run at our training centre in Hinckley, with day two down the road at our busiest hearing centre where you will be able to acquire hands-on experience with our expert team.

We provide an option of linking our diary system to yours in order to allocate work whenever you are available and require it. We also offer confirmation of when you can attend the client via call/text.
Pricing and Payment
The pricing of this course is only £895.00 (Exc. VAT). This includes two days of training with lunch provided. Additionally, we offer help in sourcing overnight stay in case you are travelling with costs depending on availability and time of year.
