Helping you hear conversations from both sides.

When you have limited hearing in one ear, a standard hearing aid may no longer provide enough help, and following conversations can feel difficult. Phonak CROS EON R picks up sound from your unaided side and sends it wirelessly to an Audeo EON R hearing aid worn by you in your better-hearing ear. This helps you stay aware of people and sounds on both sides.

You should not need to turn your head or change seats every time someone speaks from your poorer-hearing side. CROS EON R brings these voices to your better-hearing ear, making group conversations easier and more inclusive.

CROS Balance gives your audiologist control over the balance between sound received by the CROS device and sound heard through the Audeo EON R. Audiologists will adjust this balance around your individual hearing needs and listening preferences.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are Phonak hearing aids rechargeable?

Yes they are, the custom and in-the-ear hearing aids are both available in rechargeable versions.

Are Phonak hearing aids visible?

We choose a colour that matches the client’s hair or if they have glasses we make sure that the colour of the hearing aids matches the glasses’ rim in order to make them as discrete as possible. For in-the-ear hearing aids we will try to colour match to the patient’s skin to make hearing aids blend in as much as possible.

Are Phonak hearing aids waterproof?

As of yet there are no waterproof hearing aids, Phonak hearing aids are however water resistant with the rating of 68p (with 1 being least resistant and 9 being most resistant). The numbers 6 and 8 refer to dust resistance and water resistance respectively. Currently there are no hearing aids on the market that have a 9 water resistance rating. This means you still have to take your hearing aids off when you shower or your ears are going to be exposed to large amounts of water.
